Job Purpose
UNICEF Ukraine requires professional video editing and post-production services to transform raw footage collected by UNICEF staff, videographers, production companies, and partners into compelling, audience-focused video products. This content is used across multiple communication channels, including social media platforms, digital campaigns, websites, donor reports, advocacy initiatives, media outreach, and high-level events. The consultant will be responsible for the entire post-production process, ensuring that the final video products align with UNICEF's communication objectives and brand standards. This role is crucial for effectively communicating UNICEF's work and impact in Ukraine to diverse audiences, thereby supporting fundraising, advocacy, and programmatic goals.
Responsibilities
Transform raw footage into polished video products suitable for various communication channels, including social media, digital campaigns, websites, donor reports, advocacy initiatives, media outreach, and high-level events. This includes editing, color correction, sound mixing, and adding graphics and animations as needed. Ensure all video content adheres to UNICEF's brand guidelines and communication standards. Manage and organize raw footage and project files efficiently. Collaborate with UNICEF communication teams and videographers to understand project requirements and objectives. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine video content. Export final video products in various formats optimized for different platforms and devices. Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques and software advancements. Maintain a high level of technical proficiency in video editing software and related tools. Ensure timely delivery of all assigned video editing tasks within the contract duration.
Work Experience
Minimum of 7 years of professional digital video editing experience. Demonstrated experience in videography within the development, human rights, or child rights sectors is required. Familiarity with Frame.io is considered an asset.
