Job Purpose
The overall objective of this consultancy is to establish "La Famille Mosantu" as a national multimedia behavioral communication platform. This platform will integrate television, radio, community tools, and digital media to sustainably promote positive behaviors related to child health, nutrition, and development in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The consultant will support the development and operationalization of this communication initiative, working under UNICEF's supervision and in close collaboration with PRONANUT and government partners. The role involves adapting and disseminating key messages to foster social and behavioral change effectively across various channels.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for supporting the development and operationalization of the "La Famille Mosantu" communication for social and behavioral change initiative. Key responsibilities include developing audiovisual content, managing and developing the multimedia platform, ensuring linguistic and cultural adaptation of materials, and creating complementary communication tools. This involves conceptualizing and producing engaging animated videos and educational series, adapting technical messages into simple and attractive content for diverse audiences, and optimizing content for digital platforms and social media to maximize reach and engagement. The consultant will also coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and government partners, manage multiple communication products simultaneously, and ensure timely delivery of all outputs.
Work Experience
At least ten (10) years of professional experience in audiovisual communication, graphic design, and multimedia content development. Proven experience in designing, producing, and disseminating communication content for the general public, with demonstrated experience in developing animated videos, educational series, or social and behavioral communication content.
