Organizational Context
UNICEF works in over 190 countries to save children’s lives, defend their rights, and help them fulfill their potential. The Division of People and Culture (DPC) is expanding its roster of qualified individual consultants. This initiative aims to provide global coaching, workshop design, and facilitation services, building on positive feedback and increased demand for talent management support within the organization.
Job Purpose
UNICEF's Division of People and Culture is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals to serve as facilitators and coaches for talent management. The primary purpose is to renew and expand a roster of consultants with expertise in executive coaching, individual and team coaching, learning intervention design, workshop facilitation, and country/regional briefings. These services are crucial for enhancing leadership development, fostering a strong performance culture, supporting career growth, and improving team effectiveness across UNICEF's global operations. By providing tailored support, consultants will help staff navigate complex challenges, reinforce values-based culture, and ultimately strengthen UNICEF's capacity to deliver on its mission for children in over 190 countries and territories. Furthermore, they will be responsible for designing and developing diverse learning interventions, both face-to-face and virtual, covering topics such as leadership, performance, career development, and team effectiveness. This includes the facilitation of tailored workshops and webinars for UNICEF offices globally. A crucial aspect involves designing and delivering country and regional briefings for newly appointed Representatives and Regional Directors, equipping them with essential knowledge on the political, historical, social, and economic context of their new duty stations.
