Job Purpose
The main purpose of the post is to prospect and attract recurring donors to increase the donor base and ensure the financing sought for the implementation of the country's program. Under the general supervision and the general guidance of the Fundraising Manager, this post will coordinate the planning, implementation and monitoring of the fundraising acquisition strategy and the management and supervision of the different acquisition channels. At UNICEF Ecuador, fundraising is a key driver of our mission to improve the lives of children and adolescents across the country. Through channels such as face-to-face fundraising, telemarketing, digital platforms, and DRTV, we engage supporters who help sustain our work through recurring donations. As part of our team, you will contribute to mobilizing resources that support UNICEF’s Country Programme, emergency response efforts, and strategic initiatives—helping to create a lasting impact for every child.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for planning, implementation, and monitoring of acquisition channels. Coordinate the implementation of donor acquisition campaigns. Regular monitoring, evaluation, and reporting. Emergency fundraising for individual donor acquisition efforts. Team coordination and supervision. Cross-functional coordination. Administrative responsibilities. This role is crucial for mobilizing resources that support UNICEF’s Country Programme, emergency response efforts, and strategic initiatives, ultimately helping to create a lasting impact for every child in Ecuador. The officer will be responsible for managing and supervising various acquisition channels to ensure effective donor engagement and resource mobilization.
Work Experience
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience in marketing, promotional or fundraising areas is required.
