Job Purpose

As a driver, you will provide reliable and safe driving services while ensuring compliance with local traffic rules and UNICEF protocols. You are expected to demonstrate the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, adaptability, and protocol awareness. You will also support administrative tasks and engage in self-directed learning during non-driving periods, demonstrating a client-oriented approach, courtesy, tact, and a high sense of responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe and reliable driving services, adhering to all traffic laws and UNICEF protocols. - Conduct routine vehicle checks, maintenance, and ensure the vehicle is ready for use at all times. - Utilize digital tools and tracking systems for navigation and reporting purposes. - Accurately document all trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and passenger details. - Maintain communication readiness and be prepared for emergency situations. - Support office operations by assisting with administrative tasks and engaging in self-directed learning during idle periods. - Ensure the security and safety of passengers and cargo during all journeys. - Maintain a high level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in all interactions. - Adapt to changing circumstances and be flexible in responding to operational needs. - Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
Work Experience
A minimum of two years of professional driving experience in an international organization, embassy, or UN system with a safe driving record is required.
Skills
