Job Purpose
UNICEF's Division of People and Culture (DPC) is undertaking a reform to enhance leadership talent acquisition and ensure a skilled, motivated workforce. This role supports the strengthening of executive screening and assessment capabilities for critical leadership positions like Assistant Representatives and Deputy Representatives. The consultancy will contribute to the recruitment of high-caliber senior leaders by developing and implementing robust assessment methodologies. This is crucial for ensuring that UNICEF secures the right talent in the right positions to effectively deliver on its organizational objectives and strategic goals for children worldwide.
Responsibilities
The consultant will collaborate with DPC Senior Leadership Support Team recruiters to develop and refine assessment methodologies tailored to UNICEF's needs. This includes creating a comprehensive bank of assessment tools based on vacancy announcements, job descriptions, leadership competencies, and evaluation criteria. The consultant will be responsible for piloting these new methodologies to ensure their statistical validity and reliability. They will also manage a shared calendar to provide DPC with timely updates on scheduled interviews, assessments, and feedback sessions. A key responsibility will be conducting interviews and producing timely, comprehensive interview reports. Additionally, the consultant will provide concise oral feedback to unsuccessful candidates, contributing to a positive candidate experience and upholding UNICEF's reputation.
Work Experience
A minimum of five years of progressively responsible professional experience in human resources, talent acquisition, executive search, or assessment and selection, preferably within an international organization or large-scale recruitment environment.
