Job Purpose

The internship aims to provide a student or recent graduate with practical experience in Information and Management Systems. The intern will support the Parakou area office by contributing to the development of consolidated performance frameworks, collecting and analyzing data on program implementation, assessing data quality from partners, supporting the follow-up of project monitoring recommendations, and establishing a georeferenced database for area office achievements. This role offers a valuable learning opportunity within the humanitarian sector, enhancing academic, professional, and personal development.

Responsibilities

Support the development of consolidated performance frameworks for the area office. Collect and analyze data related to the implementation status of the area office's work plan. Evaluate the quality of data provided by partners to ensure accuracy and reliability. Assist in monitoring the implementation of recommendations from project monitoring missions. Contribute to the establishment of a georeferenced database to map and track the achievements and initiatives of the area office. This will involve data entry, validation, and potentially basic spatial analysis. The intern will also provide general support to the information management team as needed, participating in meetings and contributing to team objectives. The role requires close collaboration with program and operations staff to gather necessary information and ensure data integrity.
