Job Purpose
The internship aims to enhance the intern's skills in developing community-based data collection tools. Responsibilities
The intern will contribute to the UNICEF country program support by developing simplified community data collection tools. This involves understanding the needs of vulnerable communities in Benin and designing tools that can effectively gather data on factors influencing behavior change. The intern will work within the Engagement HUB, supporting rapid research strategies to inform programming. Responsibilities include designing user-friendly tools, potentially testing them in a community setting, and contributing to the analysis of collected data. The role requires collaboration with program teams to ensure the tools align with program objectives and contribute to identifying equitable access to quality essential social services for children and adolescents. The internship focuses on practical application and skill development in community-based research and data collection methodologies.
Work Experience
No prior work experience is strictly required, but experience or demonstrated interest in community-based research, data collection, or program support in a development or humanitarian context is advantageous.
