Job Purpose
The consultancy aims to enhance the effectiveness and quality of response services provided through the Child Protection Case Management and Referral System (CP-CMRS) across Pakistan's provinces. This will be achieved by strengthening case management practices through structured mentoring and supervision, updating tools, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational guidance to meet emerging needs. Additionally, the role involves building the capacity of the social service workforce, implementing robust supervision mechanisms, and reinforcing effective case management practices. The consultant will contribute to strengthening Pakistan's child protection systems, aligning with its commitment as a state party to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Responsibilities
Strengthen child protection case management practices through structured mentoring and supervision of the social service workforce. Update and refine existing tools, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational guidance for the Child Protection Case Management and Referral System (CP-CMRS) to address evolving needs and international best practices. Develop and deliver capacity-building initiatives for the social service workforce, focusing on enhancing their skills in case management and referral processes. Establish and support robust supervision mechanisms to ensure consistent quality of service delivery. Conduct reviews of case files and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Collaborate with federal and provincial governments and relevant partners to ensure effective implementation and sustainability of the strengthened child protection systems. Provide technical expertise in the development of child protection manuals and guidelines. Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions on the quality and effectiveness of child protection services. Support the integration of CPIMS/Primero systems where applicable. Contribute to knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination within the child protection sector in Pakistan.
Work Experience
Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience in child protection systems strengthening, social work, social service workforce strengthening, or other closely related areas.
