Job Purpose
Under the supervision of the Chief Communication and Advocacy, the incumbent will support private sector engagement, donor visibility, partnerships communication, and recognition efforts for UNICEF Bangladesh. This role is crucial for strengthening strategic relationships with private sector partners, foundations, and donors. The officer will achieve this by developing high-quality communication products, implementing visibility initiatives, providing event support, crafting compelling stories, and executing partner recognition activities. All activities must align with UNICEF branding and partnership guidelines, ensuring consistent and effective communication that enhances UNICEF's mission and impact in Bangladesh.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance private sector engagement and donor recognition. Create compelling content, including press releases, social media updates, website articles, and multimedia materials, to highlight partnerships and their impact. Manage and execute visibility initiatives for private sector partners and donors, ensuring compliance with UNICEF branding and partnership guidelines. Support the planning and execution of events related to partnerships, donor engagement, and recognition ceremonies. Facilitate storytelling efforts to showcase the positive outcomes of collaborations with private sector entities. Maintain strong relationships with private sector partners, foundations, and donors through regular communication and engagement. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication activities related to partnerships and donor recognition. Assist in identifying new partnership opportunities and developing communication plans to support them. Ensure all communication materials are accurate, engaging, and aligned with UNICEF's mission and values. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure cohesive communication strategies across different departments.
Work Experience
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in Communication, Media, communications strategy, corporate partnerships, branding, event management, digital media, content development, social media management, or multimedia production.
