Job Purpose
The Programme Associate provides specialized programme and administrative support to facilitate the development, implementation, and monitoring of UNICEF's programmes within the Global Programme Division, specifically within the Nutrition and Child Development sector at the Amman Centre of Excellence. This role is crucial for ensuring effective programme delivery and compliance with organizational rules. The incumbent will exercise judgment, anticipate needs, and recommend actions that contribute to programme planning, implementation, and reporting results. A key focus will be on leveraging digital innovation and operational efficiency to maximize impact and streamline tasks, supporting the organization's commitment to delivering results for children and advancing their rights in a digital future.
Responsibilities
The Programme Associate will be responsible for providing crucial support across the programme cycle. Key responsibilities include Project Management and Implementing Partnership Coordination to ensure smooth collaboration and timely processes. Data Management, Analysis & Reporting will be essential for generating actionable insights for decision-making. The role involves Grant Management, Budget Monitoring and Reporting, tracking utilization and supporting donor submissions. A significant aspect will be driving Digital Innovation & Operational Efficiency by leveraging AI and digital tools to streamline tasks. Communication, Knowledge Sharing and Dissemination will be important for sharing results and best practices. Capacity Building & Event Coordination for workshops and learning activities is also a core function. The incumbent must demonstrate Flexibility & Surge Support to adapt to changing priorities and provide backup across the team, ensuring the effective and efficient delivery of programmes and support services.
Work Experience
A minimum of six years of administrative or clerical work experience is required, preferably in related fields.
