Job Purpose
The Partner Recognition and Impact team within UNICEF's Private Sector Communication and Engagement Section (PFP) seeks a skilled and strategic Communication for Partnerships Specialist. This role is crucial for supporting the design and delivery of joint communication plans and frameworks for multi-country and global partnerships. The specialist will coordinate communication planning across various markets, facilitate partnership communication workshops, and develop high-quality communication assets. A key responsibility is managing reputational risks through proactive communication strategies and overseeing the implementation of these assets and frameworks in collaboration with country offices and National Committees. The objective is to streamline and accelerate the hiring of communication consultants to effectively showcase partnership recognition and the impact of UNICEF's programmes.
Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive communication packages, including press releases, social media assets, key messages, Q&A documents, and talking points, for multi-country partnerships in close collaboration with communication focal points from National Committees, regional, and country offices. Organize and facilitate communication workshops and meetings for stakeholders to develop robust partnership communication frameworks and strategic plans. Proactively manage reputational risks associated with partnerships through the development and implementation of effective communication strategies. Oversee the successful implementation of agreed communication plans and activities across different countries, ensuring alignment at global, regional, and national office levels between UNICEF and its partners. Coordinate effectively across relevant teams and offices as required. Support the communication requirements for new high-value partners and actively participate in meetings to facilitate overall alignment across workstreams and offices at all organizational levels. The consultant will use their own equipment and maintain regular liaison with the manager and communication specialists.
