Job Purpose
The Digital Impact Manager (P-4) reports to the WCAR Regional Chief of Digital Impact and the Chief of Digital Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for managing complex ICT systems and operations, enhancing collaboration and capacity building externally, and improving results delivery and knowledge management. The incumbent will foster innovation and build strong business relationships, ensuring alignment with established policies, guidelines, and service level agreements. The primary objective is to strengthen UNICEF's digital impact by promoting equitable access to information and services, empowering communities, and contributing to a more inclusive and sustainable world for children.
Responsibilities
The Digital Impact Manager will manage the ICT function, providing essential technical and operational support to regional and country offices. Key responsibilities include enhancing digital governance frameworks, fostering collaboration among internal and external stakeholders, and building robust partnerships. The role involves improving the delivery of results through effective digital strategies and enhancing knowledge management practices. A significant aspect of the job is to drive innovation in digital solutions that address children's needs and rights. This includes identifying opportunities for technological advancement, managing ICT projects, and ensuring the security and reliability of information systems. The incumbent will also be responsible for capacity building initiatives for staff and partners in digital tools and methodologies, and for reporting on the impact and effectiveness of digital initiatives within the WCAR region.
Work Experience
A minimum of eight years of professional experience in information technology management and business operations within a large international organization and/or corporation is required.
