Job Purpose

The Partnership Officer (CSOs) is responsible for providing technical and administrative support to ensure quality, effective and efficient management of implementing partnerships in the country office. This includes the establishment of partnerships through the Partnership Review Committee (PRC). The fundamental mission of UNICEF is to promote the rights of every child, everywhere, in everything the organization does. Effective implementing partnership management is essential for ensuring that resources are utilized as intended and results are being achieved, aligning with the Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT) to manage risk and assure results.

Responsibilities

Support to implementing partnership management, including the establishment of partnerships through the Partnership Review Committee (PRC). Provide quality assurance for Programme Documents (PDs), Programme Cooperation Agreements (PCAs), and Small-Scale Funding Agreements (SSFAs). Conduct analysis, monitoring, and reporting, maintaining the E-tools database and any other relevant tools for CSO engagement and partnerships. Drive innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building for both staff and partners. Ensure effective implementation of the Harmonized Approach to Cash Transfers (HACT) to manage risks and assure results in line with resource utilization. Contribute to the overall strategic objectives of UNICEF in Mozambique by fostering strong and effective partnerships with Civil Society Organizations.

Work Experience

1 year of relevant work experience in Programme Development/Management, Financial Planning/Management, Partnership management, quality assurance, or any other related fields.
