Job Purpose

The consultant will support the implementation of two flagship education programmes in Greece: the U Talent programme, focused on strengthening skills development and employability for young people, and the Safe Schools Alliance initiative, aimed at preventing bullying and fostering safe school environments. The role involves providing technical and operational support, contributing to programme activities, and facilitating trainings and workshops for various stakeholders. The consultant will also assist with data collection and analysis, drafting reports, and supporting dissemination and awareness-raising events. This position requires strong coordination, communication, analytical, and facilitation skills to effectively engage with diverse partners, including government entities, schools, youth, academic institutions, and private sector organizations.

Responsibilities

Provide technical and operational support for the implementation of the U Talent and Safe Schools Alliance programmes. Facilitate trainings and workshops for youth, educators, school communities, and other relevant stakeholders, focusing on skills development, employability, and anti-bullying strategies. Collect, analyze, and interpret programme data and feedback to inform programme adjustments and reporting. Draft, edit, and disseminate reports, presentations, communication materials, and knowledge products related to programme activities and outcomes. Support the organization and implementation of dissemination, outreach, and awareness-raising events, including stakeholder meetings, public engagement activities, and communication campaigns. Enhance programme visibility, stakeholder engagement, and overall impact through effective coordination and communication. Collaborate with government entities, municipalities, schools, youth, academic institutions, and private sector partners to ensure successful programme delivery and foster strong working relationships. Contribute to the development of educator manuals and synthesize evidence for the production of knowledge products. Ensure alignment with UNICEF's mission and values in all aspects of the assignment.

Work Experience

Proven experience in organizing and delivering skills development trainings and capacity-building sessions for educators and students. Demonstrated experience with blended learning methodologies and educational technology. Proven experience in primary data collection, data analysis, and report drafting for programmatic and policy purposes.
