Job Purpose
The purpose of this consultancy is to provide essential administrative and technical support for key backend operations within the Individual Resource Mobilization team. This includes meticulous financial processing, robust data management, and dedicated supporter care. The consultant will be instrumental in ensuring the integrity of data, facilitating smooth financial reconciliations, and supporting effective supporter stewardship. By managing these critical functions, the consultant will enable the Individual Resource Mobilization Lead to concentrate on strategic initiatives and drive growth for UNICEF's programs, ultimately contributing to the organization's mission of serving children worldwide.
Responsibilities
The consultant will report to the Individual Resource Mobilization Lead and the Chief of Partnerships, Advocacy, and Communication. Key responsibilities include processing, tracking, and recording financial contributions from various channels, supporting the reconciliation of transaction data across platforms, and identifying/flagging discrepancies. Maintaining organized documentation for audit purposes and liaising with Finance and external vendors are also crucial. In data management, the consultant will perform supporter data entry, cleaning, validation, and updates in CRM systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. They will assist with data imports/exports and maintain data hygiene according to UNICEF standards. For supporter care, responsibilities include managing timely acknowledgments, responding to inquiries, tracking feedback, and supporting retention activities. Operational support involves backend campaign setup, preparing routine reports, documenting SOPs, and contributing to process improvements for enhanced efficiency and error reduction.
Work Experience
A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant professional experience is required, specifically in administrative, operations, data management, or resource mobilization support roles. Experience with databases, CRMs, or digital platforms is essential. Experience in NGOs, resource mobilization, or customer/supporter service is considered an asset.
