Job Purpose
The Digital Solutions Engineer Consultant will provide critical technical advisory, solution design, and implementation support for UNICEF Supply Division's digitalization initiatives. This role will leverage Microsoft Power Platform technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) and related cloud services to enhance, integrate, automate, and optimize low-code enterprise solutions, workflows, analytics platforms, and digital business processes. The consultancy aims to support the transformation of Supply Division operations over an 11-month period, ensuring the development and maintenance of robust digital systems that align with operational requirements and programme priorities.
Responsibilities
Provide ongoing technical advisory, solution design, and implementation support for Supply Division digitalization initiatives using Microsoft Power Platform technologies (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365). Support the enhancement, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise collaboration platforms, business applications, reporting tools, workflow automation solutions, and digital operational systems. Offer technical support for business process automation, workflow digitization, approval workflows, operational tracking systems, dashboards, reporting solutions, and data visualization platforms. Assist in the implementation and operational continuity of enterprise applications, SharePoint-based solutions, Microsoft Teams integrations, Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms, and Power Platform environments. Provide technical support for operational analytics, reporting, visualization, and business intelligence solutions, including Power BI and Dataverse reporting. Collaborate with the Business Analysis Manager, ICT team, business units, technical teams, external vendors, and implementation partners. Adapt to evolving technical priorities and assignments based on operational requirements and digital transformation initiatives.
Work Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and supporting solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and SharePoint. Experience in automating business processes, approvals, and operational workflows. Proven experience with application testing, troubleshooting, deployments, UAT, and production support. Experience building dashboards and operational reporting solutions.
