Job Purpose

The purpose of this consultancy is to identify specialized professionals in audiovisual content production to create communication products that highlight the situation of children and adolescents in Guatemala and UNICEF's work in the country. Communication and advocacy are fundamental pillars of UNICEF's Strategic Plan in Guatemala, recognized as critical for achieving sustainable and impactful results for children and adolescents. UNICEF utilizes various strategic communication resources and platforms to showcase its programmatic priorities and intervention impact, aiming to influence key audiences and keep children's rights and equity at the center of development agendas, public policy formulation, and social mobilization efforts.

Responsibilities

The consultant will be responsible for developing scripts, with UNICEF providing input, and obtaining final approval for the script/storyboard. Post-production and editing of videos must include, at UNICEF's discretion, English subtitles, lower thirds, royalty-free music, adaptations for social media, and intro/outro screens. The chosen lighting equipment must guarantee professional image quality. The technical proposal must include a description of the available equipment for producing various materials, including a drone. The consultant is responsible for developing the script, and UNICEF may provide input. The final version of the storyboard/script must be approved by UNICEF. Post-production and editing of videos must include, at UNICEF's discretion, English subtitles, lower thirds, royalty-free music, adaptations for social media, and intro or exit screens, among others. The lighting equipment chosen must guarantee professional quality in the image. The technical proposal must include a description of the equipment available for the realization of the different materials, including a drone.

Work Experience

Experience in audiovisual content production is required, including pre-production, production, and post-production services. Specific experience with drones and professional lighting equipment is also necessary.
