Job Purpose

The consultant will develop an Implementation Strategy for Digital Learning Technology Kits in Primary Education Centers and Extracurricular Education Centers (CEEX). This strategy will include a Methodological Manual to guide teachers, tutors, or facilitators in using these kits in the classroom. The goal is to enhance digital learning experiences for students and provide clear, structured guidance for educators. The consultant will define learning routes, create user manuals, design practical activities, and identify/adapt learning resources. This initiative aims to improve the effectiveness and accessibility of digital learning tools within educational settings in Guatemala, ensuring a consistent and high-quality approach across different educational levels and contexts.

Responsibilities

The consultant is responsible for developing a comprehensive Implementation Strategy for Digital Learning Technology Kits in Primary Education Centers and Extracurricular Education Centers (CEEX). This includes creating a Methodological Manual to facilitate the use of these kits by teachers, tutors, and facilitators. Key deliverables include a work plan and timeline, the Methodological Manual with clear instructions, procedures, and quality guidelines, and the overall Implementation Strategy. The manual must differentiate guidance for primary education and extracurricular centers, and include induction workshops for tutors in Huehuetenango. The strategy should outline learning objectives, methods, procedures, techniques, resources, evaluation mechanisms, and suggested implementation plans tailored to different grades and territories. The consultant will define learning routes, develop user manuals, design practical activities, and identify/adapt learning content for the kits. The work involves ensuring clarity, detail, and uniformity in all documents, and establishing mechanisms for measurement and follow-up to ensure successful implementation and impact.

Work Experience

More than 5 years of experience as an instructional designer. Experience in designing instructional content with clear learning objectives and logical structure (introduction, development, evaluation).
