Job Purpose
The Marketing Officer, NOA level, in UNICEF China's Partnerships and Innovation Section, is crucial for creating outreach content for external audiences and donors to ensure programs are well understood. This role supports the Individual Fundraising team's acquisition, conversion, and retention efforts across all channels, including digital and social media. The incumbent will also assist in providing partnership communications support to the corporate and philanthropy fundraising team, reporting to a senior marketing officer and collaborating closely with the fundraising team and other sections.
Responsibilities
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing acquisition content to attract new donors and supporters. They will create and manage retention and loyalty content to maintain engagement with existing donors. The role involves supporting high-value channel outreach and reporting, ensuring effective communication and tracking of results. Additionally, the incumbent will provide content support and quality control, ensuring all marketing materials are accurate, compelling, and aligned with UNICEF's brand guidelines. This includes digesting briefs, creative ideation, drafting content, and revising based on feedback until finalization. The officer will also assist the manager in providing partnership communications support to the corporate and philanthropy fundraising team, contributing to overall resource mobilization targets.
Work Experience
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in communication, advertising, media, Chinese-language content marketing, copywriting, journalism, marketing communications, or interactive digital/social media is required.
