Job Purpose

Under the supervision of the Corporate Fundraising Officer NO3, the Corporate Fundraising Officer (New Business) NO2 is responsible for designing the corporate new business strategy and guiding its implementation. The objective is to increase the number and quality of corporate partners and maximize income from the private sector for UNICEF. This will be achieved by building a strong new business pipeline and converting new leads into signed partnerships that align with the Brazil country office high-value strategy. Additionally, the incumbent will provide leadership and strategic direction for the corporate new business team, promoting a collaborative and value-driven team culture with a focus on results.

Responsibilities

1. Support corporate new business development initiatives by contributing to the implementation of the approved corporate fundraising strategy and Private Sector Plan, in collaboration with the Corporate Fund Raising Specialist (NO3) and under the guidance of the Corporate Partnerships Manager (P4). 2. Contribute to the development and management of the corporate new business pipeline by supporting prospective identification and qualification, drafting sections of proposals and pitch materials, and coordinating internal inputs required for submissions. 3. Support negotiations and partnership development processes by preparing background materials, coordinating meetings, documenting discussions, and drafting follow-up actions, under the guidance of senior staff.

Work Experience

A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in corporate fundraising, business development, or partnership management, preferably within the non-profit sector.
