Job Purpose
The Marketing Associate will integrate the Marketing Services area, which is part of the Resource Mobilization and Partnership section, operating with individual donors and corporate partners to make a long-term commitment to furthering children’s rights. This position will work in the Marketing Services area, exclusively with the teams that handle donations from individuals. The role involves adapting, creating, and reviewing fundraising content and materials for individual fundraising purposes, proactively searching for and presenting global content and materials, and campaigns for Individual Giving (IG). The associate will ensure the quality of outputs according to UNICEF standards in all products and campaigns, aligning with UNICEF’s work and brand guidelines.
Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Marketing Services Officer, the Marketing Associate will undertake the following tasks: Adapt, create, and review fundraising content and materials for individual fundraising purposes. Proactively search and present global content and materials, and campaigns for IG, seeking necessary tools for possible adaptations or use of content nationally. Ensure the quality of outputs according to UNICEF standards in all products and campaigns produced by and with Individual Giving teams, ensuring content is in line with UNICEF’s work and brand book/guidelines. Work closely with peers within each Individual Giving channel to access information and materials needed to develop activities. Maintain constant contact and alignment with the Communications area to map events and content opportunities that can be explored through individual giving channels. Support the creation of briefings for agencies, freelancers, and photographers when necessary. Participate in webinars and meetings regarding individual giving fundraising when necessary. Ensure that all campaign materials and products are organized, backed up, and uploaded onto SharePoint.
