Job Purpose
The Partnerships Consultant will strengthen the Office of Strategy and Evidence – Innocenti’s (OSE) prospecting, proposal development, reporting, quality assurance, and pipeline funding monitoring. This role will provide technical and operational support for cultivating and managing partnerships across public and private income channels. The consultant will collaborate closely with units and sections across OSE to enhance donor engagement, improve resource mobilization efforts, and promote effective, coordinated partnerships that align with the division’s priorities outlined in the current Strategic Plan (2026-29). This consultancy is crucial for meeting OSE’s ambitious fundraising targets during the current strategic plan period.
Responsibilities
Under the guidance of the Chief of Partnerships, the consultant will be responsible for providing technical and operational support to strengthen OSE’s partnership management functions. This includes enhancing prospecting activities to identify new potential partners and developing compelling proposals for funding. The role will also involve managing donor reporting requirements, ensuring the quality of partnership-related documentation, and monitoring the funding pipeline to track progress against targets. A key responsibility will be to foster strong relationships with existing partners and cultivate new ones across both public and private sectors. The consultant will work collaboratively with various teams within OSE to ensure alignment and coherence in fundraising and partnership strategies. This involves facilitating effective communication, supporting proposal development processes, and contributing to the overall resource mobilization efforts to achieve OSE’s strategic objectives and ambitious fundraising goals for the 2026-29 period.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5-8 years of professional experience in partnerships, fundraising, resource mobilization, or a related field is required.
