Job Purpose

This internship will support the communication team in creating engaging multi-media content for social media promotion, thereby enhancing the organization's credibility and brand, and contributing to UNICEF's mission and objectives in the country. Digital communication is a key component in achieving these goals.
Responsibilities
The multi-media intern will support the communication team in creating engaging multi-media content for social media promotion. This includes developing visual assets, videos, and other digital materials that effectively communicate UNICEF's work and impact in Cambodia. The intern will assist in managing and scheduling social media posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing content performance. They will also contribute to the overall communication strategy by identifying trends and opportunities for digital outreach. Responsibilities include ensuring all content aligns with UNICEF's brand guidelines and messaging, and adheres to child safeguarding principles. The intern will collaborate with program teams to gather stories and information for content creation, and assist in maintaining an organized archive of multimedia assets. Additionally, the intern will support in reporting on communication activities and outcomes, and may be involved in other communication-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Work Experience
No specific work experience is required, but a strong commitment and passion for UNICEF’s mission are essential. The intern should be sensitive to child rights, child safeguarding principles, and a multi-culture environment.
