Job Purpose
As the People and Culture Manager, you will serve as a senior HR leader and strategic business partner, leading People and Culture teams across Viet Nam, Lao PDR, and Cambodia. Based in Ha Noi and reporting to the Representative, Viet Nam (with matrix reporting to the Representatives in Cambodia and Lao PDR), you will shape and deliver HR strategies that enable Country Programmes to achieve ambitious results for children. At this level, the role goes beyond service delivery. You will provide authoritative technical leadership, influence senior management, address complex and sensitive HR matters, and contribute to global HR policy development and innovation. You are accountable for implementing HR services that enhance the capacity of your clients in three country offices to deliver on their business goals and objectives. In doing so, you demonstrate the ability to anticipate HR-related needs and develop subsequent plans and solutions that align HR management with business objectives.
Responsibilities
Key functions include: Management of Unit. Technical HR leadership. Business partnering. Strategic human resources. Implementation of assigned human resource services. Learning and capacity development. HR data analytics. This post will initially focus 40% on Laos, 30% on Cambodia and 30% on Viet Nam, for the first 18 months. The role involves shaping and delivering HR strategies to enable Country Programmes to achieve ambitious results for children. It requires providing authoritative technical leadership, influencing senior management, addressing complex and sensitive HR matters, and contributing to global HR policy development and innovation. Accountability for implementing HR services that enhance client capacity in three country offices to deliver on business goals and objectives, anticipating HR needs and developing aligned solutions.
