Job Purpose

The Driver is responsible for delivering safe, dependable transportation services while adhering strictly to local traffic laws and UNICEF protocols. This role requires maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, discretion, integrity, adaptability, and awareness of official protocols. The Driver is also expected to assist with administrative duties and undertake self-directed learning during periods when driving responsibilities are minimal. A strong client-service orientation is essential, along with courtesy, tact, a high level of accountability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural and national backgrounds. An urgent requirement exists for a TA Driver at the Kolkata Field Office to support the continuity of programme operations.

Work Experience

Minimum two years of work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN system with a safe driving record is required.
