Job Purpose
UNICEF is seeking an intern to support the Climate-Resilient Education team within the Global Programme Division, Bangkok Centre of Excellence. This internship offers entry-level, learning-focused support to the Global CRE portfolio. The intern will assist with coordination, documentation, knowledge management, and basic research related to climate-resilient education. The role provides practical exposure to UNICEF’s global education and climate work, supporting ongoing initiatives, technical assistance tracking, and internal knowledge-sharing efforts. The intern will work under the supervision of the Education & Climate lead, contributing to effective coordination and learning across teams. This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a critical area of global development.
Responsibilities
The Climate-Resilient Education Intern will provide foundational and supportive tasks to the Global CRE team. Key responsibilities include: Coordination and Administrative Support: - Assist in organizing and tracking incoming requests related to climate-resilient education work, such as logging requests. - Support the scheduling and logistics of team meetings and events. - Help maintain team contact lists and relevant databases. Documentation and Knowledge Management: - Assist in gathering and organizing information for reports, presentations, and other communication materials. - Support the updating and maintenance of knowledge management systems and repositories. - Help in drafting meeting minutes and action points. Research and Analysis: - Conduct basic research on topics related to climate-resilient education, climate literacy, and green skills. - Assist in compiling data and information for analytical purposes. General Support: - Provide general administrative support to the team as needed. - Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Work Experience
No prior work experience is required. Previous internship or volunteer experience in a related field is an asset.
