The role contributes to the testing, implementation, and maintenance of ICT systems and digital/data solutions that support programme delivery.
Responsibilities
The Senior Digital Impact Associate supports UNICEF Comoros’ ICT and digital operations by providing specialized technical services, including desktop and server administration, hardware and software management, and systems support. The role contributes to the testing, implementation, and maintenance of ICT systems and digital/data solutions that support programme delivery. Based in Comoros, the Associate reports to the Operations Specialist and receives technical supervision from the Madagascar Digital Impact team, working closely within a multi-country office setup. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of IT infrastructure and digital tools that enable UNICEF's programmatic work in the region. The Associate will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, managing IT assets, and supporting the deployment of new technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in delivering services to children.
Work Experience
Minimum seven years of practical work experience in information technology, requiring systematic methods of troubleshooting and problem solving is required.
