Job Purpose

The Private Sector Partnerships Consultant will play a crucial role in identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with private sector entities in Morocco. This position aims to leverage corporate philanthropy, promote Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, and encourage innovations that benefit children. The consultant will be instrumental in mobilizing resources and fostering collaborations that align with UNICEF's mission to reduce disparities and protect child rights. By engaging with multinational corporations and national companies, the consultant will contribute to sustainable change for children, ensuring their survival, protection, education, and healthy development. This role is vital for UNICEF Morocco's strategy to expand economic ties and enhance investments in human capital, ultimately improving the lives of children in the region.

Responsibilities

Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with private sector entities in Morocco, including multinational corporations and national companies. Develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to mobilize financial resources from the private sector. Promote and facilitate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives that align with UNICEF's goals and child rights agenda. Engage with businesses to encourage the adoption of responsible business practices that benefit children. Support the development of joint programs and projects that leverage private sector expertise and resources for child-focused interventions. Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential partners and funding opportunities. Prepare proposals, presentations, and reports for potential and existing partners. Represent UNICEF in relevant forums and events to advocate for child rights and promote partnerships. Monitor and evaluate the impact of private sector partnerships on children's well-being and rights. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the private sector, government, and civil society. Ensure compliance with UNICEF policies and procedures in all partnership activities. Contribute to the overall strategy of UNICEF Morocco in diversifying income sources and strengthening its engagement with the private sector.

Work Experience

A minimum of five years of professional experience in partnership development, resource mobilization, corporate social responsibility, or a related field, preferably within an international organization or the private sector. Experience in the Middle East and North Africa region is an asset.
