Job Purpose
The Sr. Quality Assurance Associate will strengthen the quality assurance capabilities within UNICEF's Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC) in Budapest. This role is crucial for conducting risk-based assurance activities and analyzing control, process, data, and service signals. The primary objective is to support clear assurance judgments and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations to management. By moving beyond routine testing, the associate will identify systemic risks and patterns, thereby enhancing decision-making processes and ensuring the integrity and efficiency of GSSC operations. Responsibilities
The Sr. Quality Assurance Associate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk-based quality reviews and control assurance activities within the GSSC. This includes performing data analytics to identify trends, developing and implementing detective controls, and establishing early risk indicators to proactively address potential issues. The role requires the ability to interpret systemic findings and provide cross-scope assurance judgments, ensuring a holistic view of operational risks. Furthermore, the associate will contribute to governance frameworks, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and support capability building within the quality assurance function. A key aspect of the role involves maintaining fraud risk awareness and upholding the highest standards of integrity in all assurance activities, ensuring compliance with UNICEF policies and procedures.
Work Experience
A minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience in quality assurance, data analytics, audit, or a related field is required. A completed university degree from an accredited institution will count as 4 years of experience.
