Job Purpose

The Project Support Intern (Data Analysis) will contribute to UNHCR's efforts in managing and analyzing data related to refugee operations. This role involves supporting the team in collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data to inform decision-making and improve program effectiveness. The intern will gain practical experience in data analysis within a humanitarian context, assisting in the generation of reports and visualizations that highlight key trends and insights. Responsibilities

The Project Support Intern (Data Analysis) will be responsible for assisting in the collection and organization of data from various sources related to UNHCR's projects and operations. This includes ensuring data accuracy and completeness through rigorous cleaning and validation processes. The intern will support the analysis of datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, contributing to the development of reports and presentations. Responsibilities also include assisting in the creation of data visualizations, such as charts and graphs, to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders. The intern may be involved in maintaining databases and ensuring the integrity of information systems. Furthermore, the role entails providing support for ad-hoc data requests and contributing to the continuous improvement of data management practices within the team. Work Experience

Previous experience in data analysis, data management, or a related field is desirable. Familiarity with statistical software or data visualization tools is an asset.
