Job Purpose
The Digital Marketing Intern will support UNHCR's communication efforts by assisting in the development and execution of digital marketing strategies. Responsibilities
The Digital Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting in the planning and implementation of digital marketing campaigns across various online channels, including social media, email, and the UNHCR website. This involves creating engaging content such as graphics, short videos, and written posts tailored for different platforms and target audiences. The intern will help manage and monitor UNHCR's social media accounts, responding to comments and messages, and fostering community engagement. A key responsibility will be to support the analysis of digital marketing performance by tracking key metrics, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and campaign reach, and contributing to regular performance reports. The intern will also assist in researching digital marketing trends and best practices relevant to humanitarian organizations. Additionally, the role may involve supporting the maintenance and updating of website content and assisting with search engine optimization (SEO) efforts to improve online visibility. The intern will collaborate with the communications team to ensure all digital activities align with UNHCR's brand guidelines and communication objectives, contributing to the overall goal of raising awareness and support for UNHCR's mandate.
Work Experience
Previous internship or volunteer experience in digital marketing, social media management, or content creation is desirable. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
