Job Purpose
The Senior PSP Individual Giving Associate's primary purpose is to maximize the donor base for UNHCR's Individual Giving (IG) program, targeting individuals capable of donating between $1 to $10,000 annually. This role involves promoting team development and providing effective leadership to support staff, ensuring they operate at their full potential. The associate is accountable for their duties in line with UNHCR's regulatory framework, policies, and core values, including professionalism, integrity, and respect for diversity.
Responsibilities
The Senior PSP Individual Giving Associate is responsible for developing annual plans for donor acquisition, retention, and development, including financial forecasts and projections. They will manage and enhance donor servicing and communications to ensure best-in-class donor care, utilizing various channels like telemarketing, digital, and mail. This includes supervising the implementation of campaigns such as upgrades, conversions, acquisition, and loyalty programs. The associate will draft submissions for funding, contribute to detailed annual plans, and supervise progress against work plans, budgets, and targets. They will also oversee middle-value donor activities and manage regular communication with relevant fundraising units. Database management, ensuring data accuracy, and providing analysis are key. For donor acquisition, they will lead Face to Face fundraising strategies, manage budgets and supplier relations, and diversify fundraising models. They will also oversee digital fundraising strategies, manage supplier relationships, supervise online content, and ensure the integration of various digital channels like SMS and DRTV. Cold mailing activities, including production supervision and negotiation with suppliers, are also part of the role. For donor retention and development, they will define and supervise data strategies, manage donor journeys, monitor supporter experience initiatives, and oversee communication plans through various media. They will ensure email communications are integrated with offline campaigns, supervise negotiations with email marketing agencies, and oversee the design of retention materials.
