Job Purpose
The Youth and Communication Intern will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of youth-focused programs, trainings, and campaigns. The intern will contribute to developing various program documents, including training materials and reports, and assist in organizing capacity-building activities. By documenting lessons learned and success stories, the intern will play a key role in showcasing UNFPA's impact and supporting its organizational objectives in promoting youth potential and well-being.
Responsibilities
The intern will support the planning, coordination, and implementation of youth-focused programs, trainings, campaigns, and events. Responsibilities include contributing to the development of training materials, presentations, reports, and concept notes. The role involves assisting in the organization of meetings, workshops, and capacity-building activities, including logistical and administrative arrangements. Communication and outreach support for UNFPA Uzbekistan is a key duty, encompassing social media content creation, event promotion, and visibility initiatives in Uzbek, Russian, and English. The intern will prepare communication materials, document lessons learned, success stories, and best practices, and participate in UNFPA trainings and meetings. A final internship report summarizing tasks and learning outcomes is also required.

Skills
Proficiency in standard office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and Canva is required. Strong communication, research, analytical, and writing skills are essential. Fluency in English (intermediate/upper-intermediate) and full working proficiency in Russian and Uzbek are necessary.
