The Partnerships, Resource Mobilization and Advocacy Analyst is based in the UNFPA Country Office in Dili, Timor Leste, reporting to the Representative. Job Purpose
The Analyst's primary purpose is to strengthen the Country Office's partnership engagement, resource mobilization, and advocacy efforts. This involves providing analytical and coordination support to identify and pursue funding opportunities, foster engagements with funding partners and government ministries, and contribute to the preparation of high-quality proposals, reports, and advocacy materials. The role is crucial for sustaining programme activities and expanding collaboration with partners, ultimately contributing to UNFPA's transformative results.
Responsibilities
The role involves strengthening partnerships through strategic inputs and analysis of the partnership landscape, identifying opportunities aligned with programme priorities, and maintaining partnership data. It supports resource mobilization by analyzing funding opportunities, drafting proposals and concept notes, and contributing to resource mobilization strategies based on donor trends. The Analyst also contributes to donor reporting by analyzing and consolidating reports, ensuring quality and alignment with results frameworks. Additionally, the role supports advocacy by assisting the Representative in engaging with government officials and analyzing the political and social landscape, while also contributing to information management and coordination through analytical updates and data analysis.
Work Experience
Requires at least two years of relevant professional experience in partnerships, programme analysis, communications, or resource mobilization. Experience supporting proposal preparation or donor reporting is desirable. Experience in complex operational environments and with international organizations is an asset.
