Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to develop and finalize a Gender-Responsive Case Management (GRCM) Training and Programme Manual. The consultant will leverage their expertise in gender-based violence (GBV), case management, and training development to create a comprehensive, user-friendly, and technically sound manual. This will involve synthesizing complex information, incorporating survivor-centered approaches, and ensuring alignment with international standards and Philippine context. The ultimate goal is to enhance the capacity of relevant stakeholders to effectively implement GRCM, thereby strengthening the response to GBV and promoting gender equality.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and finalizing the GRCM Training and Programme Manual. This includes conducting thorough research, analyzing existing materials, and synthesizing technical inputs into a clear and accessible format. The consultant will design and facilitate training sessions, including Training of Trainers (ToT), and lead multi-stakeholder consultations to gather feedback and ensure relevance. They will also be involved in pilot testing and iterative refinement of the manual, ensuring its technical accuracy and practical applicability. Experience in supporting the roll-out and institutionalization of similar programs within government systems is crucial for successful implementation.
Work Experience
At least 2 years of experience in gender-based violence (GBV), case management, or social protection. Experience in developing training modules/manuals, facilitating ToT, pilot testing, and working with government agencies is highly desirable. Familiarity with Philippine social protection systems and GBV response mechanisms is advantageous.
Skills
Strong facilitation, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills. Excellent analytical and report-writing abilities. Capacity to synthesize complex information into user-friendly outputs. High attention to detail for quality assurance. Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
