Organizational Context

Job Purpose
The Training Assistant (Asistente de Capacitaciones SSR) plays a crucial role in strengthening the technical capacities of health providers, community leaders, and implementing partners in areas aligned with UNFPA's mandate. By focusing on instructional design, efficient logistics, and the administration of learning platforms, this position ensures that training programs, both in-person and virtual, effectively contribute to programmatic objectives. The role is instrumental in monitoring training implementation, systematizing results, and promoting the replication of best practices, particularly in Sexual and Reproductive Health education.
Responsibilities
The Training Assistant will support the UNFPA Venezuela Country Office in sexual and reproductive health by coordinating and managing training activities for health professionals and key stakeholders. This includes contributing to data collection, analysis, and reporting on SSR training programs. The role involves providing administrative and logistical support for workshops and events, developing training schedules, and tracking their execution. Additionally, the assistant will offer technical guidance to facilitators, monitor training implementation, and ensure timely report submission. Support for virtual training, organizing training materials on specific platforms, and maintaining up-to-date documentation are key duties. The position also entails systematizing training data, supporting SSR implementation activities, documenting lessons learned and best practices, and assisting in the organization of generated information and documents.
Work Experience
Previous experience in coordinating and/or implementing training programs is required. Experience in teaching, data management, and information systematization is also necessary. Familiarity with UNFPA policies and programs related to sexual and reproductive health is desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite is essential, with experience in ERP management systems being advantageous.
