Computadores para Educar (CPE), now Tecnologías para Aprender (TPA), is a non-profit organization established in 2000. Its mission is to drive educational innovation through digital technologies, promoting equitable access and knowledge generation. TPA is undergoing a strategic shift, focusing on technology as a means to enhance learning, empowering teachers and students. This consultancy is part of an initiative with UNDP and UNESCO to support this transformation by analyzing and systematizing past experiences and informing future strategies.
Job Purpose
This consultancy aims to coordinate the development and finalization of seven technical notes focused on systematizing and analyzing prioritized programs and projects. These notes will cover aspects such as territorial coordination, technological acquisition experiences, school technical clubs, testbed execution, digital competencies, and AI implementation. The process involves quantitative and qualitative methodologies, essential for gathering national practices, experiences, and regulations. The consultant will support project meetings, document analysis, information systematization, and the creation of technical documents and transmedia products. The goal is to contribute to building a new vision and recommendations for action, guiding decision-making and fostering dialogue and knowledge sharing within Computadores para Educar.
Responsibilities
The consultant will participate in project induction, coordination, and planning meetings, ensuring adherence to general, methodological, and operational guidelines. Key activities include supporting the organization, convening, and follow-up of technical and strategic meetings, preparing inputs, and systematizing agreements. The role involves supporting document review, analysis, and organization of relevant project information, as well as analyzing and organizing project systems, indicators, and information sources for analytical and monitoring purposes. The consultant will systematize information from project activities, prepare technical inputs for reports and follow-up notes, and assist in developing technical documents and transmedia products. Maintaining updated databases, activity records, and information repositories is crucial. Collaboration with other technical profiles to ensure integration and coherence of products is expected. Participation in technical tables and inter-institutional coordination spaces, providing support in documentation and systematization, is also required. Administrative and management tasks supporting the project director are part of the role, alongside adhering to confidentiality and personal data protection principles.
Work Experience
Minimum of six years of professional experience in applied research, information systematization, social research, and/or knowledge management. Experience in preparing technical documents, reports, analysis matrices, and research products is required. Experience working with public entities, international cooperation agencies, educational projects, or initiatives related to science, technology, and innovation is beneficial. Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative data collection, organization, analysis, and systematization is necessary. Familiarity with office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and support for document management and project monitoring processes is expected.
