They will adapt UNESCO Mexico's "Guide on Masculinities with a Gender Perspective" to the social, cultural, and community context of Oaxaca, integrating elements specific to the purple sea snail textile practice and local communities. Furthermore, the consultant will design and implement three participatory workshops aimed at fostering co-responsibility, valuing community work, promoting reflection on masculinities, gender equality, and preventing violence against women within the framework of safeguarding intangible cultural heritage. Finally, they will systematize the results, lessons learned, and recommendations from the workshop implementation to inform future community social development and living cultural heritage safeguarding initiatives in Oaxaca.
