Consultant - DevOps Engineer of the Register of Museum Funds of Ukraine

Job Purpose
This role supports the digital transformation of Ukraine's cultural sector by ensuring the reliable, secure, and scalable operation of the Register of the Museum Fund of Ukraine. The primary objective is to implement and maintain modern DevOps practices, automated CI/CD processes, and a scalable digital architecture. This includes developing and managing CI/CD pipelines, containerized environments, monitoring systems, and Infrastructure as Code. The role is essential for the sustainable operation, secure development, and technological modernization of this key state digital system, ensuring its integration with other national systems and the safeguarding of cultural heritage.
Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for implementing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD processes, digital infrastructure, and the architecture of the Register to ensure stable, secure, and scalable operation. This includes automating build, testing, and deployment processes; administering server infrastructure, databases, and environments; and supporting containerized environments and Kubernetes clusters. Responsibilities also encompass implementing monitoring, logging, auditing, backup, and data recovery systems, ensuring integration with other state systems via APIs, and resolving software and infrastructure incidents. A key focus will be on automated testing within CI/CD pipelines, system stability, and compliance with information security requirements. The role involves coordinating with various teams, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining secure secrets management and access control practices.
Work Experience
A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure administration, or support of digital platforms/state information systems is necessary. Proven experience in CI/CD implementation, containerization (Kubernetes/OKD), server/database administration, and Infrastructure as Code is essential. Experience with monitoring, logging, auditing, backup/recovery systems, and API-based system integration is also required.
Skills
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues effectively.
