The Country Office seeks a Graphic Design and Multimedia Intern to enhance strategic communication, visibility, and digital engagement efforts.

Job Purpose

This internship aims to support UNDP Cameroon's strategic communication, visibility, advocacy, and digital engagement initiatives. The role will leverage graphic design, visual communication, branding, digital content creation, and multimedia production skills to advance sustainable development objectives. The intern will contribute to creating high-quality visual content and audience-centered communication products, enhancing the visibility of development results and strengthening stakeholder engagement across the Country Office and field offices. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about using creativity and design to make a tangible impact.

Responsibilities

The Graphic Design and Multimedia Intern will be responsible for supporting the creation of compelling visual content for various communication channels. This includes designing professional communication products for both digital and print platforms, ensuring alignment with UNDP's branding guidelines. The intern will also be involved in multimedia production, potentially including motion graphics and photo editing, to enhance storytelling and engagement. Key duties involve applying principles of branding, layout design, typography, and color theory to develop visually appealing materials that effectively communicate UNDP's work and impact across Cameroon.

Work Experience

Experience is required in using Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), photography and photo-editing, and familiarity with digital design platforms like Canva Pro. Demonstrated ability to design professional communication products for digital and print is essential, along with a strong understanding of branding, layout, typography, color theory, and visual storytelling.
