Organizational Context
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is collaborating with the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) in Brazil on a technical cooperation project (BRA/24/022) focused on strengthening the Brazilian Judiciary. This project aims to promote citizenship by supporting vulnerable law graduates in their judicial career aspirations and fostering dialogue among legal professionals on justice management and human rights issues. The initiative runs until December 2028.
Job Purpose
The Communication Coordination Analyst will lead and manage the integrated communication and advocacy strategy for the UNDP-STJ project (BRA/24/022). This role is crucial for ensuring the project's visibility and the effective dissemination of its actions and results. The analyst will provide technical leadership to communication, design, and editorial teams, fostering synergy and alignment across all project activities. Responsibilities include developing strategic communication plans, monitoring performance, managing teams, overseeing content production, and coordinating institutional partnerships and media relations to support the project's objectives of promoting citizenship and strengthening the Brazilian Judiciary.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement integrated communication and advocacy strategies aligned with institutional objectives. Define clear goals, operational timelines, and performance indicators for internal and external communications, focusing on results dissemination, event promotion, and audience engagement. Monitor and measure the impact of communication actions, producing regular performance reports. Continuously evaluate the quality, consistency, and accessibility of editorial and visual products, proposing strategic adjustments. Supervise, guide, and coordinate the daily activities of the communication team, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment. Oversee the flow of internal communication demands, ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence. Coordinate the production and revision of technical, institutional, and advertising materials in various formats. Plan and strategically manage social media and digital channels, supervising campaign creation and content production. Coordinate strategic content planning, event organization, and execution, ensuring alignment with project guidelines. Manage institutional partnerships and media relations, including press releases and interviews. Systematize lessons learned, evidence, and best practices generated within the project. Produce technical documents, reports, and strategic materials to support decision-making and institutional dissemination.
Work Experience
Candidates with a Master's degree require no professional experience. Those with a Bachelor's degree must have at least two years of professional experience in communication and/or advocacy, including strategy implementation, digital communication and social media management, institutional material production, media relations, stakeholder engagement, and event organization.
