Organizational Context

This role is within the Strategy, Management, and Operations department in Tunisia.

Job Purpose

This internship aims to provide practical experience within the Human Resources function of the UNDP Tunisia Country Office. The intern will support various HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and internal communications, contributing to the efficient operation of the HR department. The role involves assisting with administrative tasks, data analysis, and knowledge sharing, ensuring HR initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented. This position offers an opportunity to gain exposure to international HR practices within a development context, supporting the UNDP's mission to foster sustainable development and empower vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

The HR Intern will support recruitment and HR processes by assisting with presentations, organizing induction materials, and facilitating onboarding activities. They will contribute to internal HR communication, helping to disseminate updates and global HR initiatives, and assist in developing and implementing a communication action plan. The intern will also conduct research on HR best practices. Additionally, the role involves providing administrative and operational support, tracking daily requests, monitoring HR inquiries on the UNall platform, and supporting HR analytics through report and dashboard preparation. Ad-hoc activities as needed are also part of the responsibilities.

Work Experience

No specific work experience is explicitly required for this internship. However, a strong interest in working in an international HR environment and a proactive, client-oriented approach are desirable.
