The UNDP's Project Sinergia+ aims to strengthen CONANP's management processes, enhancing its capacity for results-based planning, financial management, governance, and strategic alliances. This project contributes to increased connectivity between representative ecosystems for biodiversity and ecological balance. The role supports institutional strengthening and effective conservation management in protected natural areas (ANP).
Job Purpose
The Project Assistant in Instructional Design for Training Programs will contribute to strengthening CONANP's training and capacity development processes. This role involves instructional design and the articulation of educational programs to enhance pedagogical quality, educational innovation, and learning experiences aligned with institutional priorities for conservation and management of protected areas. The position directly supports the achievement of goals related to institutional strengthening and effective conservation management within protected natural areas, as outlined in Result 1 of Project Sinergia+.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include supporting the review, update, and follow-up of academic planning in coordination with UNRC and CONANP. The role involves developing academic content in collaboration with specialists, ensuring its quality and relevance. Designing and updating the pedagogical structure of learning units, defining activities, didactic resources, and evaluation mechanisms through instructional scripts is crucial. The assistant will verify pedagogical consistency across content, learning strategies, resources, and evaluation criteria. They will provide technical follow-up with multimedia design teams and CONANP/UNRC, and monitor the academic review and validation of materials. Additionally, the role includes supporting the validation of content on the educational platform and managing academic documentation, instructional scripts, and evaluation instruments.
Work Experience
For candidates with a high school diploma/baccalaureate, 5 years of verifiable experience are required. For candidates with a first-level university degree (Licenciatura), 2 years of experience in designing didactic materials and learning sequences are required.
Skills
Required: Experience in educational didactic content. Desired: Experience in developing learning objectives, practical activities, and formative evaluation criteria; instructional design of modules and active teaching strategies; preparing technical reports and academic presentations; designing educational and scientific evaluation instruments; database management and analysis (SPSS, advanced Excel, advanced Matlab, Python); experience with LMS platforms (Canvas).
