Organizational Context

The UNDP project Sinergia+ aims to strengthen CONANP's management processes, enhancing its capacity for results-based planning, financial strength, and effective governance. This project contributes to increasing ecosystem connectivity for biodiversity conservation. The role supports institutional strengthening and effective management within protected areas (ANP).

Job Purpose

This role contributes to strengthening training and capacity development processes within CONANP by focusing on instructional design and the articulation of educational programs. The objective is to enhance pedagogical quality, foster educational innovation, and create learning experiences aligned with institutional priorities for conservation and protected area management. The position directly supports Result 1 of the Sinergia+ project, focusing on institutional strengthening and effective management for conservation.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include planning and monitoring the production of educational resources in coordination with instructional design teams and program implementers. This involves designing, developing, and updating graphic, audiovisual, and multimedia resources to meet pedagogical criteria and learning objectives. The role also entails adapting and integrating educational materials for learning platforms, ensuring functionality and accessibility. Additionally, it involves supporting the administration and updating of content on the educational platform, providing technical follow-up with academic and design teams for continuous improvement, verifying the quality and usability of digital resources, and managing digital educational resources and their versions.

Work Experience

Required experience includes 5 years for candidates with a high school diploma, or 2 years for university graduates, specifically in the administration of educational and evaluation platforms. Experience with digital tools and virtual platforms for education and training is also required.

Skills

Required skills include experience with digital tools and virtual platforms for education and training. Desired skills encompass adapting instructional scripts for LMS, adapting instructional design for e-learning, adapting and formatting training materials (both in-person and virtual), and creating/managing multimedia educational content. Experience with LMS platforms like Moodle is advantageous.
