Organizational Context
The UNDP PROCAP program, active since 2013, supports Mexico's International Development Cooperation (CID) efforts aligned with SDG 17. In its third phase (2019-2025), it aims to strengthen AMEXCID's institutional capacities, enhance its CID policy (both receiving and offering), and foster strategic alliances. This role operates within AMEXCID's executive structure, contributing to international cooperation in various sectors.
Job Purpose
The International Mobility and Talent Management Assistant will support the AMEXCID-PNUD (PROCAP) program by contributing to the recruitment, profile evaluation, and technical selection of candidates for international cooperation projects. This includes assisting with the management and follow-up of scholarship and academic exchange calls, providing adaptive support to foreign and Mexican scholarship recipients, and participating in training sessions on human development and soft skills. The role is crucial for strengthening institutional capacities in CID management, promoting strategic alliances, and supporting the implementation of Mexico's development plans, aligning with national foreign policy principles and the 2030 Agenda.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include assisting in the recruitment, evaluation, and selection of candidates for international cooperation projects and scholarships. The role involves managing and tracking scholarship and academic exchange calls, providing support and follow-up for scholarship recipients both in Mexico and abroad, and participating in the preparation and delivery of workshops on human development, teamwork, and soft skills. Work Experience
Candidates with a high school diploma require 4 years of experience in human resources or exchange programs. Those with a completed Bachelor's degree need 1 year of relevant experience in similar areas.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience in competency-based candidate selection and structured interviews. Experience in structuring and delivering workshops or group information sessions. Desired skills include knowledge of visa procedures, international insurance, academic cooperation regulations, managing call processes, and advising on human development and soft skills.
