Organizational Context
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is partnering with the National Council of Justice (CNJ) in Brazil on a project to enhance cybersecurity for the Judiciary. This initiative, BRA/25/025, focuses on developing and implementing tools and strategies for cybersecurity, digital preservation, and information integrity to protect systems and users. The role is within the Strategy, Management, and Operations department, supporting the Technical and Operational Management Unit.
Job Purpose
The Test Analyst (QA) will support the Technical and Operational Management Unit in ensuring the quality, reliability, security, and continuous improvement of solutions, systems, and tools for the Brazilian Judiciary. This role involves close collaboration with CNJ and UNDP teams to define and execute test scenarios, identify and mitigate non-conformities, and align with quality and information security standards. The objective is to enhance the overall effectiveness and security of judicial systems, contributing to transparency, good governance, and efficient judicial processes for the benefit of citizens and society.
Responsibilities
The Test Analyst will be responsible for defining test scenarios and cases, establishing requirements and acceptance criteria, and ensuring alignment with project security standards. This includes implementing test scenarios using project-defined programming languages and tools, maintaining versioned and documented test artifacts. The role involves preparing test data and environments, executing functional, integration, end-to-end, and load tests, and meticulously recording results and evidence. A key duty is identifying, classifying, and reporting non-conformities, tracking their resolution, and performing regression testing. The analyst will also define testing methodologies, integrate automated tests into delivery workflows, and support UI/UX testing. Additionally, the position involves supporting the definition of test-oriented methodological standards, contributing to best practice dissemination, and facilitating knowledge sharing through training and documentation.
Work Experience
Candidates with a Master's degree require no professional experience. Those with a Bachelor's degree must have at least two years of professional or academic experience in Information Technology, specifically in software testing, Quality Assurance (QA), or related areas. Desired experience includes defining/executing test scenarios, performing various test types, defect tracking, using agile methodologies and test automation tools, and preparing test data and documentation.
Skills
Proficiency in defining, elaborating, implementing, and executing test scenarios, cases, and plans. Experience in functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing, including defect tracking and documentation. Familiarity with agile methodologies and test management/automation tools. Ability to prepare test data and environments. Experience in technical documentation and QA reporting. Fluency in Portuguese is required; basic English is desirable.
