IT Analyst (infrastructure Analyst For Integrated National Health Laboratory Information System (silnas) [open To Internal And External Applicants]
Organizational Context
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Indonesia partners with the Ministry of Health to strengthen the implementation of Global Fund grants. This role supports the development of an Integrated National Health Laboratory Information System (SILNAS), a critical component of Indonesia's digital health transformation, aiming to integrate laboratories with the national health system. The IT Analyst will ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the SILNAS infrastructure.
Job Purpose
The IT Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for the implementation, assistance, monitoring, and control of the SILNAS system infrastructure. This role ensures the reliability, scalability, and security of SILNAS components, including cloud and on-premises environments, network communications, and server monitoring throughout the project lifecycle. The Analyst will work closely with the Ministry of Health IT team, project directors, and vendors to align infrastructure development with national needs and strategic plans. The position requires a proactive approach to managing and resolving infrastructure issues, providing technical guidance, and facilitating knowledge transfer to build local capacity for sustainable system management.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include planning, designing, and implementing IT infrastructure for SILNAS across cloud and on-premises environments, including server provisioning, storage, and virtualization. This involves configuring production, staging, and development environments, and implementing high availability, load balancing, and disaster recovery solutions. The role also entails designing and implementing a comprehensive information security framework, conducting security assessments, and managing network infrastructure (WAN, VPN) for seamless integration across multiple locations. Proactive system monitoring, maintenance, and timely issue resolution are crucial. Additionally, the IT Analyst will provide technical assistance, conduct quality assurance, facilitate training, and report on progress, risks, and recommendations to project management and stakeholders.
Work Experience
Applicants with a Master's degree are not required to have professional work experience. Those with a Bachelor's degree must have a minimum of two years of experience in cloud environments and on-premises datacenter operations. Desired experience includes managing hybrid IT infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and implementing high availability/disaster recovery solutions.
