Organizational Context

Job Purpose
This Project Associate role focuses on Knowledge Management and Reporting within the Activating Village Courts in Bangladesh (AVCB) project. The primary purpose is to support the development and implementation of a Knowledge Management and Learning Strategy, ensuring that project successes, lessons learned, and best practices are effectively documented and disseminated. The role contributes to enhancing the project's visibility and impact by producing knowledge products, compiling data for reports, and assisting in the enrichment of project communication channels. By facilitating the sharing of information and insights, this position plays a crucial part in the project's overall objective of increasing access to justice and social harmony in rural Bangladesh, particularly for women and disadvantaged groups.
Responsibilities
The Project Associate (Knowledge Management and Reporting) will support the Planning, M&E & Reporting Analyst in developing and implementing the Knowledge Management and Learning Strategy. Key functions include producing success stories, lessons learned, and other publications; conducting research and data collection for knowledge materials; compiling data from field teams for donor and internal reporting; and coordinating with project components to ensure timely information collection for results reports. The role also involves proposing creative KM solutions, assisting in enriching the project's web presence, and supporting the preparation of progress reports (quarterly and annual). Additionally, the associate will help develop Terms of Reference for consultants, supervise their work for quality reporting, prepare presentations and briefing notes, and provide logistical support for results and lessons learned exercises.
Work Experience
A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience is required with a high school diploma, or 4 years with a Bachelor's degree. This experience should demonstrate a proven track record in development projects, specifically in knowledge management, qualitative research, and reporting.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong computer and typing skills (Bangla and English); research background; familiarity with data visualization tools and graphic design basics; ability to develop written materials for diverse audiences; experience documenting lessons learned and best practices; knowledge of information and communications technology.
