Organizational Context
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Mexico, through the AMEXCID-PNUD Cooperation Program (PROCAP), supports Mexico's International Development Cooperation (IDC) efforts aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 17. The program, in its third phase (2019-2025), aims to strengthen AMEXCID's institutional capacities for managing IDC, promoting strategic alliances, and supporting the implementation of the National Development Plan.
Job Purpose
This role supports the administrative, documentary, and regulatory follow-up of cooperation projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal frameworks. The position involves processing and structuring institutional databases to generate statistical reports and dynamic tables on project progress. It also entails drafting official documents, managing correspondence, and providing logistical support for meetings and events. The objective is to contribute to the institutional consolidation of AMEXCID and the strengthening of South-South Cooperation in Mexico, aligning with national development priorities and international cooperation policies.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include providing administrative, documentary, and regulatory support for the entire lifecycle of cooperation projects, ensuring strict adherence to legal frameworks. This involves processing, cleaning, and structuring institutional databases to generate statistical reports and dynamic tables on budgetary and operational progress. The role requires drafting meeting minutes, internal and inter-institutional memos, managing official correspondence, and following up on responses. Additionally, the position will provide logistical support for organizing and holding work meetings and events for the Agency. The Auxiliary will be part of the operational structure of AMEXCID, contributing to the coordination and supervision of programs and projects related to international cooperation.
Work Experience
For candidates with a high school diploma, 4 years of experience in public administration at the federal, state, or municipal level are required. For candidates with a completed university degree, 1 year of experience in the aforementioned areas is required.
Skills
Proficiency in the legal framework of Mexican Public Administration. Experience in drafting official documents, meeting minutes, inter-institutional correspondence, and reports. Experience in following up on information requests, both internal and external.
